Why Kindling?
THE FACTS
80% of working adults are either disengaged or highly disengaged in their work.
Anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide are currently experienced in record levels of young adults across the U.S. due to a multitude of factors. Rates of anxiety and depression have nearly doubled from 2008 - 2018. Suicide is the second cause of death among young adults.
“We learn math and science and writing, but at the end of the day no one really teaches us how to navigate the real world.”
– Sofia, 26, Kindling Cast Member
- More than ever, today’s young adults feel overwhelmed and underprepared once they’re set out on their own.
-
Kindling helps to provide a strategic path towards understanding WHO they are, WHAT they want to achieve, WHY they want to achieve it, and HOW they can create the conditions to succeed.
-
We focus on teaching critical foundational skills and mindsets that are often not cultivated in our workplaces, educational institutions, or homes.
-
Our video content blends open, introspective dialogue with a practical, structured approach to learning.
-
Our unscripted filmed setting is an immersive, Socratic, conversational, and action-oriented peer group experience that is largely missing in the online learning space.
-
In a world of constant change and disruption, we prepare young adults in all aspects of their lives so they can be adaptable to changing conditions and perform at their best.
